HICARE PHOTOTHERAPY UNIT

HICARE Neonatal Phototherapy Unit (HNP-101) provides intense blue light for the effective treatment of neonatal hyperbilirubinaemia.

The CFLs provide blue light at ~20 μW/cm²/nm and can provide an ntensity of up to 30 μW at a distance of 35 centimeters. CFLs last five times longer than ordinary tube lights, requiring less frequent replacement

• Light from the CFL module is focused on the baby bed, avoiding scatter into the care-provider space. Unwanted UV radiation is filtered and eliminated
• Special vents are provided on the light unit to divert heat, avoiding undesirable arming of the baby
• The tiltable light unit may be placed over any bed or incubator and in combination with a radiant warmer or another CFL unit for additional intensity.
• Adjustable height suits varying bed heights. The T-shaped base slides conveniently out of the way under other equipments
